Rachel shares 7 easy steps to get the look:

You will need:

- Pampas grass
- Christmas tree
- Christmas decorations
- Fairy lights
- Floristry wire
- Scissors

1. Plan out whichChristmas decorationsyou want to incorporate into your pampas tree. Anordic noeltheme works really well with pampas. Wooden textures combined with neutral tones and pops of white and metallic baubles look great when paired with the green tree.

2. Put up your Christmas tree- this trend works well with both real and artificial trees so go with whatever works best for you.

3. Prepare yourpampas. Assess how many pampas stems you have in relation to the size of your tree as you’ll want to space them out perfectly with room for your other decorations. Once you have decided how many you want to add in it’s time to get trimming! Ideally, you want your pampas to overhang the branches slightly to add some volume without looking too long. You can just use scissors to trim the length.

4. If using Christmas lights, make sure you put these on your tree before any other decorations. A warm white colour will add just the right cosy glow.

5. Now it is time to position your pampas in the tree. For the bottom two-thirds of the tree, just lay the pampas on top of branches and secure them with floristry wire, string or a cable tie. For the top of the tree, you might want to position the pampas pointing upwards for a dramatic look. Make sure these are tied to the branches securely.

6. All that is left to do now is continue to decorate the rest of your tree by adding in your baubles and other festive touches to tie the look together.

7. Don’t forget to finish the look with a gorgeous tree topper to tie everything together.

Top tip:If your pampas grass is looking a little limp and lifeless give it a quick blast with a hairdryer to fluff up the stems and add some volume! A quick spritz of hairspray will prevent any flyaways.

Trend 2: Floral wreath

#floralwreathhas over 7.1M views and the TikTok trend uses festive florals and seasonal foliage to spruce up awreathfor a bespoke look. The best thing about this trend is that you can pick flowers that are in season that match your Christmas colour scheme. Gypsophila is a popular flower choice to add to a plain green base to create a snowy ethereal look.

An artificial wreath can be used year after year and this trend shows, all you need to do is add some flowers of your choice, faux or real to create a unique wreath you can guarantee no one else will have.

Jess Martin explains 6 easy steps to create your own floral Christmas wreath:

You will need:
- Wreath
- Flowers of your choice
- Floristry wire
- Scissors
- Ribbon

1. The first step is to pick the perfect base wreath, you want to pick one that is the right size for your door and ideally not too busy so you put your own spin on it. Want to add some oomph? Wrap some twinkly fairy lights around the wreath to brighten up the darker evenings.

2. Select your blooms. Gypsophila or baby’s breath is the perfect flower for a beautifully frosted wreath look. Thistles are also a nice addition as they add a pop of cool blue.

3. Trim your chosen flowers so that there is enough stem to secure each one into the wreath, but not too much so that it sticks out too far.

4. Begin adding your flowers ensuring that you are following the direction of the foliage for a neat and cohesive look.

5. For heavier flowers and for wreaths you are hanging outside, you will need to use floristry wire to attach each stem. Simply create a loop and twist to secure your flowers, you can use the two ends of the wire to ensure the flower is securely fixed onto the wreath.

6. Add a contrasting ribbon to hang. When it comes to putting up your wreath the usual solution is some string and a nail but why not opt for a renter-friendlywreath hook? Not only do they look neater but they won’t damage your door, win-win! Floral wreaths also make beautiful table centrepieces with a candle in the centre- perfect for a festive feast.

Top tip:if you are wanting to create a floral wreath that lasts as long as possible, you should consider building your wreath on some floristry foam soaked with water. Otherwise, keep your wreath in a cool place to stop it from wilting too soon.

Trend 3: Bauble Arch

Looking for a showstopping entrance for your party? A bauble arch is for you! This trend sees people using a chicken wire base and then attaching baubles, balloonsand foliage to create an arch above doors and around fireplaces.
With over 4.6M views on TikTok, everyone wants to know how to create this focal point with a guaranteed wow factor. Whether you are looking to create the ultimate centrepiece, or you're looking for a way to refresh and reuse your old decorations, it’s simpler than you think to create your own.

Jess has shared 6 simple steps to get the look:

You will need:

- Chicken wire
- Thin wire or cable ties
- Wire cutters
- Baubles
- Foliage
- Balloons

1. The first step in creating your bauble arch is to collate your baubles! Using leftover or tired-looking baubles can be a great way to save some pennies. You can always add some new decorations to the mix to tie the look together.

2. You then need to pick the perfect place for your marvellous creation; whether it be on your mantelpiece or the entryway to your living room or your front door make sure it is primed to be seen by all your guests!

3. Create the base for your arch with chicken wire. Make sure you attach it securely to the wall with adhesive hooks. This will be the base for all your decorations so you want to make sure it is strong enough to support the weight.

4. Start by adding your largest decorations or foliage first. Using some wire, you will then need to create a hook for each item to secure it to the arch. Cable ties work well too.

5. Fill in the gaps with your smaller baubles and festive flourishes like ribbons or candy canes.

6. Using bold contrasting colours makes the arch really pop and will nail thenostalgic maximalismtrend! If you like more of a neutral look try experimenting with different metallics added with white and cream baubles.

Top tip:try usingballoonsto fill in some of the bigger spaces. They give the same effect as baubles and are a great way to add shapes of different sizes easily. Just remember not to put them next to anything sharp or they may pop.
