How to celebrate
There is no right or wrong way to throw a galentines day party, however a few of the preferred ways to celebrate are over a girly brunch, dinner or a cosy movie night in. As long as you have all your favourite female friends, yummy food (preferably heart shaped treats of course) and a bottle of bubbly your all set! Sounds pretty perfect right?
1. Pick your Galentine’s Day theme
We always recommend picking a theme no matter what the occasion, it just makes it really easy when browsing for decorations and pulling in a few of the finishing touches. Not to mention, having a colour scheme for your Galentines Day party will make it even more exciting.
We’ve chosen our new Be My Valentine collection with Pink, Red’s & a hint of rose gold, it’s perfect for this occasion. Which colour scheme will you be going for?
2.Galentines Party Food
Now, the food you serve will depend on how you choose to celebrate but whether you choose to go for a girly brunch with breakfast foods or a movie night in, we recommend choosing foods that are as cute as possible – essentially the more heart shaped foods the better.
Don’t stop there though, use our gorgeous pink heart tableware to serve it’s perfect for a Galentines / Valentine’s Day party and means they’ll be no washing up in sight!
Our favourite sweet treats ideal for a Galentines Day party:
Heart Shaped Pancakes & Waffles – These are perfect for creating a mini pancake bar at your girly galentines brunch.
Galentines Biscuits & Cakes – The perfect little snack for a girly movie night or even better why not arrange a baking evening and spend time decorating your biscuits after – just make sure to take some gorgeous photos before they all get eaten!
Heart shaped pizza – because why not!
3. Galentines Decorations
Would it ever be a party without a few decorations? With plenty to choose from this year it’s never been easier. String up our cute heart bunting around your home for a gorgeous galentines day feel or why not give your party a lift with these super cute foil heart balloons! All are perfect for a girly night in on February 13th.
4. Galentines Photo booth
Now you may be thinking, a photobooth at a galentines party seems like a lot of work but actually, with a few decorations you can have one ready to go in minutes! The girls will absolutely love it and whether your dressing up or dressing down for the occasion, you’ll have a few wonderful snaps to look back on.
All you need to create a gorgeous photo booth is an empty wall, 1-2 hanging foil curtains, balloons and our Valentines Photo booth props.
To create: Simply find an empty wall within your home and hang your metallic curtain to the top of your wall, then blow up a few balloons and place these next to your curtain and voila.
Top tip – We recommend purchasing a couple of curtains in 2 different colours for a really effective look. For example, to go with our pink & rose gold theme, we hung a rose gold curtain up first and then layered a pink foiled curtain over the top for the ultimate photo booth.

To start we chose a variety of drinks and treats that would work perfectly with our pink & red theme, pink bottles or cava and pink love heart donuts were perfect for the occasion. We then used our ‘Be Mine Heart Bunting’ to hang along the bar cart, along with adding a pink tassel garland for an extra pop of colour. – The possibilities are endless here!
Why not add a few balloons to the corners, or sprinkle a touch of our heart confetti to complete the look?
